Taiwanese Real Estate Developer to Invest $100 Million in Korea

The Korea Trade Investment Promotion Agency announced Tuesday that Taiwan's largest real estate development firm the Farglory Group will invest US$100 million in community development projects in Korea.

The company, which operates large-scale projects in China, France and the U.S., plans to redevelop two to three areas in the city of Incheon and is conducting final inspections of the candidate sites.

KOTRA's president, who visited Farglory's headquarters in Taiwan ahead of the announcement, said the investment could lead to a wave of new foreign direct investments into Korea.
