2月8日，由著名的威尼斯建筑大学举办的名为“超越局限和未知：电梯设计及技术”的研讨会在2月8日举行，此次研讨会无论是对于建筑系的学生还是电梯领域的专家来说都是一次盛会。研讨会旨在讨论如何将电梯融入到建筑设计之中。

    威特以主要赞助商的身份出席会议并受邀做了名为“电梯与建筑设计：提升美学、能效、舒适和安全”的演讲。威特电梯通过展示现今已付诸实现的并令人赞叹的解决方案，论证了如何在符合现代建筑规范的情况下使电梯成为楼宇内的一道靓丽的风景。

    同时，研讨会上，国家电梯部件行业协会（ANICA）会长Fabrizio Nicoli博士做了引人入胜的“电梯工作原理”报告；另外，欧洲电梯杂志《Elevatori》的出版经理Fabio Liberali先生分析介绍了意大利电梯市场及其中的商机。

Great success for IUAV University workshop

Feb. 8th, IUAV University, Venice, Italy
    The workshop “Beyond the square and the X” organized by the eminent IUAV University of Venice on the 8th of February was a great success for the architecture students and the experts of the lift industry. The aim of the workshop was to discuss together about the integration of elevators in buildings design.

    Wittur took part at this appreciated initiative as main sponsor and invited speaker presenting the workshop: “Elevator and architectural design: enhancing aesthetics, energy efficiency, comfort and safety”. Wittur, by showing amazing solutions realized so far, wanted to prove how the elevator can be the aesthetical focus of a building though respecting current regulations.

     Among other involving workshops, Dr. Fabrizio Nicoli, ANICA president (National Industries Association for Lift Components) made for the students an interesting introduction to the elevator working principles and Fabio Liberali, Publishing Manager of the European elevator magazine “Elevatori” made a relevant analysis of the Italian lift market and of its opportunities.
