Japanese elevator certification, inspection system

日本电梯认证、检测体系

 Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT)：Management of the

Japanese administrative agency related to the elevator，Responsible for the certification

outside the scope of the “designated accreditation body”

 Designated the certification agencies：MLIT is Specify the performance evaluation range of

the elevator, Designate the following five certification agencies:

(General consortium) Japanese Architecture Center

(General consortium) Building components Testing Center

(General consortium) Better Living

(General consortium) Japan Institute of Building Research

(General consortium) Japanese construction equipment and elevator center(BEEC)

 Building supervisor: The local chief executive or the staff appointed by him. Review

permission with installation confirmation. Having the “Eligibility for Building Qualification”,

and registered on the MLIT list.

 Elevator etc. inspector: Personnel with periodic inspection reporting authority. Received

elevator etc. inspection course training. Persons recognized by the MLIT and obtained

certificates.
